This is a short, six-minute, TED talk from Camille Seaman and it contains some awe-inspiring pictures of storms. That's all I have to say. You should watch this!

About this blog

The origination of "Charlie and his human" developed over a period of time. I am a writer. For as long as I can remember, I have always considered myself one.

Charlie, my dog, is obviously emphasized in the title of this blog, so one might ask why I am writing about myself. All good blogs need a theme, cohesion to tie the posts together. And I wavered on what that one subject matter could be.

I have always wanted to write about the somewhat intriguing and also sometimes ordinary stories of our dog Charlie, therefore Charlie is the common thread I hope will anchor my writing. Charlie’s life is interconnected with my wife and I in our own life-journey. Oftentimes there are parallels. Generally there are not.

The posts here may be solely about him. They may have nothing to do with him. Yet together, he, my wife Michelle, and I do have an existence together.
